4 Guidelines for Team Development

Team development is an ongoing process which requires focus and action.  The classic definition of a team, is a group of people working together for a common goal.  I am consistently surprised when I hear managers rave about their “teams” but in further exploration, they are raving about individual contributors.  Meaning, they have highly experienced individuals who are doing a great job and working well together.  Which is fantastic!  However, this does not necessarily mean they are operating interdependently, with synergy and accountability to one another.  Check out 4 ways to foster team development.
