Meet the Team:

Cyndi Wentland, Founder & CEO

B.S, MBA

I believe that at any age, at any point, people can learn, grow and change.  I’ve dedicated my entire life to that belief.  Learning and teaching are my passions and I’d love to share them with you.  I can be fun to partner with because I:

  • Will find the very best in you, your strengths, your talents, and I will celebrate them with you.
  • Can share all my loves with you including my never-ending quest for leadership best practices, and how to be a great human being.
  • Am a loyal supporter of my family, the UW System, Wisconsin cheese, pets, wine, caffeine and eating, but not necessarily in that order.
  • Have tons of determination and energy to help you on your leadership mission–whatever that looks like.
  • Have worked in large organizations, small organizations, non-profits and as a solopreneur, I can argue passionately for the value and challenges in all of them.
  • Am blessed to have several decades of experience in organizational consulting, leadership development, teambuilding, communications, interpersonal effectiveness, design and development and facilitation.  I share liberally.

I believe that everyone deserves to work with one great leader.  And I believe that you can be that leader.  On purpose.

Sarah Best, Talent Development Consultant

Hello, I’m Sarah!  I’m thrilled to collaborate with Cyndi and Intentionaleaders, supporting leaders as they learn and grow.  My passions including training, talent development and coaching and I share Cyndi’s vision of inspired leadership that’s fun to learn.

My husband and I live in Verona, WI with our three kids and two dogs. We own a restaurant, Sweet Home Wisconsin located on Regent St in Madison, Wisconsin. We are loyal Wisconsin Badger fans!  While most of our “free” time is spent sitting on sidelines and shuffling our kids to and from their games and events, we enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors in our downtime. I’m also partial to a glass of red wine and a good book!

Over the span of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with employees and managers at all levels in a variety of industries including financial services, health care, and engineering.  It’s energizing and rewarding to work with leaders who are committed to investing in themselves and developing skills to become the best leader they can possibly be. When it comes to leadership, we all have the potential to grow, to build skills and most importantly, to learn something new and apply it.  My goal is to help people develop as leaders and to give them a safe space to explore and try new things.  In building our leadership skills, we become better communicators, we learn to understand, embrace and celebrate our differences, and we decrease conflict and build relationships. These skills are incredibly powerful and can impact every aspect of our lives.

I’m thrilled to be on this journey with Intentionaleaders and with all of you!

Brad Babler, Director of Operations

I’m Brad.  You’ll work with me when you have membership questions, need materials distributed to you, have to pay your invoices, or anytime that you reach out to our website.  You can count on my organization, dependability and focus on your needs.

Because my whole career has been about focusing on details, big and small.  I grew up in a small community and have worked in Madison throughout my life, at Nicolet Instruments, for a medical transcription company, and as a Realtor.  I’m currently at the WI State Department of Transportation, where I experienced the joy and challenges of supervising others.  Moving back to an individual contributor role has allowed me to focus on growing and supporting Intentionaleaders, because I’m Cyndi’s partner and support system.  My strengths are a foundation to our company.
